SHIPPING & HANDLING OF LARGER
ITEMS
Truck Delivery:
Larger furnishings (armoires, chests, etc.) require
special shipping and handling. Shipping Surcharges for these items
are in (parenthesis) within the item description, and are in addition
to the fees in the Shipping Chart below. Items of this nature are
shipped by a motor freight carrier and the driver will place the
merchandise inside the main threshold (front entrance door) of your
home.
White Glove Service:
In-Home Delivery is offered to make your life
easier. For an additional fee of $90.00, the driver will unload
the merchandise from the truck into your home, unpack, place in
the ground level room of your choice and discard packing materials.
If stairs are encountered, you may be charged an additional $25
per flight, per item. If the driver faces a challenging situation,
you are welcome to ask the movers to locate the item into the preferred
area and compensate them for their efforts. This service is not
available to every location. Please contact our Call Center for
availability of this service to your area.
If White Glove Service is selected, please have
materials such as plastic or blankets laid down to protect your
floor coverings. Buckingham Babies does not assume any responsibility
from damage caused by other parties.

SHIPPING & HANDLING OF MID-SIZED ITEMS
Smaller furniture items (mirrors, nightstands,
cribs, etc.) in our Heirloom, Celeste, Versailles and Windsor Collections
require a special FedEx shipping service as this mid-weight category
cannot be transferred by motor freight delivery or standard delivery.
If you plan to order more than one furniture item, please consider
a complete order at the same time. By doing this, the cost of the
shipping may be less than when ordering at different times.

Acceptance of Merchandise:
The carrier company will contact you to arrange
a time for delivery. You must be available Monday - Friday, at the
time of delivery to receive, inspect and sign for your delivery.
If you will be unavailable for your scheduled appointment, please
contact the carrier in advance to reschedule your delivery.
Assembly:
Assembly is not provided.
Hawaii, Alaska, APO, FPO, AFO and International
Orders:
Smaller items may be delivered to many addresses
outside the US. Please contact us via email at [email protected],
prior to placing your order so we may confirm we are able to ship
to your location. Shipping charges outside the 48 US contiguous
states are not included in the Shipping Chart.
Receiving Your Shipment:
You must be present to receive, inspect and sign
for your merchandise. The carrier will not deliver unless someone
is available to sign for and inspect the merchandise. If you cannot
be available for your scheduled appointment, please contact the
carrier in advance to reschedule your delivery. If you are not present
to accept the scheduled delivery, the carrier may charge an additional
discretionary fee for redelivery.
Damaged Merchandise:
Our craftsmen are extremely careful when preparing
their merchandise for transit to your home. However, damage may
occur in shipping. Please inspect your merchandise carefully upon
arrival. If there is any damage, refuse the delivery by explicitly
detailing the damage on the shipping documentation. Doing so, will
be your protection with the freight company. Refrain from signing
any document without first recording any and all damage.
SHIPPING & HANDLING OF SMALLER ITEMS
Typically, smaller orders are shipped via USPS,
UPS or Federal Express with delivery confirmation. (FedEx does not
include Sundays, Mondays or holidays as business days.)
"In-Stock" Items:
These items will ship in approximately 1-3 business
days from the date the order is received.
"Custom" products:
These items are created especially for you. Please
allow 4-6 weeks for your custom order, unless otherwise stated within
the product description. They are payable in full at the time of
order. Custom products may not be returned.
Cut Yardage:
Many of our fabrics are available for you to purchase.
Cut yardage is payable in full at the time of order. Please note:
Many of our fabrics are manufactured from natural products. Silks
may have slubs, which are naturally inherent to the fabric, and,
our quilted fabrics are manufactured from manual methods. Any irregularities
and variations in weave and stitching are considered characteristic
and not considered defective. Our fabrics are carefully inspected
before packing and shipping. Please inspect all fabrics prior to
cutting, as returns are not accepted once fabric is cut.
Return Policies:
To return an item, follow the instructions on your
packing slip and mail to the address on the packing slip. Custom
items (cut fabric, monogrammed, embroidered, bedding, furniture
and artwork) are not returnable.
Guarantees:
We carefully inspect each order prior to hand-packing
and shipping, so we are confident you order will please you. If
a defect is noted, please contact us immediately upon receipt of
your package in order to resolve the issue. Product warranties may
be provided by the manufacturer and is generally limited to defects
in materials and workmanship. Buckingham Babies, Ltd. is not responsible
for any indirect, special or consequential damages after acceptance
of merchandise.
Sales Tax:
If your order is being shipped to Denver address
we are required by law to collect 7.6% sales tax. If you live outside
of Colorado, you will not be charged sales tax.
Gift Certificates:
Buckingham Babies' gift certificates are the perfect
gif and they don't expire. Available in denominations ranging from
$25 to $500, they may be delivered to you or your gift recipient.
To purchase a gift certificate, simply click here.
If the full amount of your gift certificate is
not used, we will be happy to retain the balance on your account
for future orders.
If your purchase exceeds the amount of your gift certificate, a
valid credit card number will be required for the balance of your
purchase.
Gift certificates are the equivalent to cash and
are not replaceable. They are not redeemable for cash, but they
are transferable.
If you would like to send your gift recipient a
Gift Certificate, just supply the gift recipients address in the
"ship to" section of your order form. You may also include
a personal message which we will handwrite on a card and include
with your package.
Fabric Swatches:
Our fabric rings are available to for you for a
temporary fee of $15.00. If they are not returned within two weeks
from date of Delivery Confirmation, the fee will be applied to the
charge card number you provided.
